5 Do's and Don'ts of a Zombie Apocalypse Vehicle

I have seen many different zombie vehicles but some have broken the basic rules of zombie vehicles. In this post I will try to teach you how to make a vehicle that will drive the zombies out and will look nice at the same time.

Now here is the vehicle in question, the Mammoth.

Now before we start, always start with basic vehicle. The only reason this is not a rule is because all other rules can be broken in some very extreme cases. This one is unbreakable. I will explain each counter to the steps in the don'ts.

Rule 1: Have room to carry lots of supplies, like handheld weapons, water, and food.

Rule 2: Give it some cool firepower. In the aftermath, there will be some downed planes and your character will need some speed. Use only in emergencies.

Rule 3:Add a plow. How else will you get through the zombie remains?

Rule 4: Put on some flair. If you find other humans, you need to show whose boss.

Rule 5: Add protective measures, such as bars over the windshield, a chainsaw in close reach, and a walkie talkie.

I also added some more fun flair on top.

Now for the five don'ts. These are highly advised. This vehicle was not built for this but is a good example.

Rule 1: Don't give it outstanding colors. This could work in the ocean, but in a city or field, this could be easily seen. The Mammoth is designed for city use.

Rule 2: Don't give it future tech. A flying car is cool and all, but it just doesn't have a place with zombies.

Rule 3: No overpowered weapons. Simple weapons are the best. Huge weapons can be very limited in the long run and vehicles today are just not capable of carrying these weapons.

Rule 4: Don't devote all space to driver sitting space. You could use it to hold food, weapons, or spare seating areas for others.

Rule 5: No flames. Don't go batman batmobile with your car. Just don't. Please.

And these are the 5 does and don'ts of a zombie vehicle. Now before I end this post, I would like to issue a challenge.

YOU the readers build a vehicle to take on the zombie hordes and post it in the comments. I give you 2 weeks. The winner I choose will get to suggest a build(within reason) that I will build, dedicate the post to that reader, and post about it the requested build with the winning picture in it.

See you next time!

Here is the "Distracter" class of spaceships (I will also show how to build the long red ship later on!) Hope you liked my first post!

Steampunk Sentry and AI! Lego Ideas Idea

Hello and welcome to a post from Legomatic, and today we'll be looking at my first attempt at building in Steampunk, a fantastical concept that is extremely fun to build in. If you are from Lego Ideas, please consider supporting my project, it would mean a lot. I imagine the story behind this, is that in the modern world, an old, fanatical AI developed back when steam engines were used in every device has watched the world develop before him. He is insulted by the gleaming, white, seamless devices and wants to bring back what once was. In order to make his dream reality, he has renovated one of his long dead masters projects into something a little more sinister, to exact his vision upon everyone else, whether they like it or not. Here is the machine, The ST33m 550, a walker armed with dual rodburn cannons. It runs off coal(of course), stored in a internal tank, which then heats rods of metal within to white hot temperatures, which are then expelled out the end, bu...

Starnight - Original Spacecraft

Hello and WELCOME to a new post from Legomatic! Last time we looked at a cutom Slave 1 moc, and today we're showcasing another Moc, The Starnight. If you are coming from Lego Ideas, welcome! If you are coming from Reddit, also welcome! Let's jump right in. A bit of backstory, I had to take apart my favorite Lego set of all time, set 70595 NINJAGO Ultra Stealth Raider for a school project. Once that happened, I couldn't let it's legacy go to shame. To let it live on, I built the Starnight, a space fighter built in the same style, that's sort of a shadow of the original set. The Starnight's dimensions are about 7.25"x 5.5" x 2.5" (in studs, about 23 x 17.5 x 8), so it's pretty small. Inside you can find a spacious cockpit, with enough room to comfortably seat 2 minifigures, 3 if you don't care about comfort. On either side is a 6 stud shooter, something which the original set also had. I might update some o...
